Week 16: Advanced Integration + Capstone Preparation (Days 113–119)

Phase 4 final stretch: Test the integrated stack against real attack scenarios, profile and optimize, security-audit your own code, build test coverage, and prepare the capstone. After this week, Day 120 is pure assembly.

8 chapters · 17 min of reading

Why this week matters: Each previous week built a component in isolation. Integration is where bugs hide — middleware ordering, race conditions under load, unexpected interactions between WAF and bot detection, config reload timing issues. This week validates the entire stack.

Background in this wiki: Linux guide Ch 81 (profiling); HTTPS guide Ch 20 (parser disagreements: the reason to fuzz parsers); TCP/IP guide Ch 32 (pcapread, a binary parser worth fuzzing). Security in Depth: Chapter 59 (govulncheck reachability) and Chapter 58 (SSDLC gates).
